Requires Remoteus 2012 customer's application and Remoteus 2012 Helpdesk's program with Remoteus 2012 Helpdesk's license. With this configuration the faster remote desktop viewing is available automatically.
Remoteus Customer's program can be started with any user privileges, but when remote desktop is viewed without administrator privileges, then any administrative tasks will prevent remote desktop viewing. This is due to Microsoft security policy in Windows Vista and later. By default Remoteus Customer's program tries to start with administrator privileges and this will raise an UAC dialog depending on Windows configuration on client system. The UAC dialog can be closed without entering administrator username and password. It is adviced to execute Remoteus Customer's application with administrator privileges.
Remoteus Temp / Guest Installation Package executes Remoteus Customer's program with logged in user privileges. In this case you will not see UAC dialog raised from Remoteus Customer's application. You can ask for Temp / Guest installation package from
In Remoteus 2012 Helpdesk's program you can enter administrator username and password, if Remoteus Customer's program is started with guest or standard user privileges. Entering administrator username and password ensures, that you can do administrative task without interruptions. Depending on the remote computer security settings, some actions may require authentication again.

Status of client's PC is visible in Remoteus Helpdesk's program, when you are connected to Remoteus Customer's application. Clicking the description about the report "Alert regarding Windows updates" opens the remote check report about the client's PC. You need a Remote Check account to view the report. You can view multiple client monitors from Remoteus Helpdesk. Dual screen can be opened by clicking CTRL+F8 or right clicking green mouse in the higher left corner of the remote desktop viewing window and selecting "Select full desktop / switch montor"
Remoteus helpdesk is installed automatically, when Remoteus helpdesk installation package is double clicked. After installation is done you need to copy your license file to Remoteus Helpdesk installation direcotry (\program files\reomteus2012\helpdesk). The license file has ".lic" -extension and you will receive it from progam vendor. If you do not have your license please contact Remoteus support firstname.lastname@example.org.
Remoteus helpdesk can be uninstalled by clicking uninstallation link
To connect to customer you need 4-digit session code. Type it to session code box and click "Connect" -button.
When connected to a client, you can click "View Remote Desktop" to view client's screen.
When you are connected to Remoteus Customer's program and you are viewing the remote desktop you can open file transfer by clicking "file transfer" button.
You can use remote actions to execute an action at customers workstation.
When you restart remote computer you will be automatically reconnected to customer, when customer's workstation jas restarted. Auditing customer's workstation will give some basic information about customer's workstation.
Executing "Audit customer's workstation" scans customer's workstation for hardware and software setup and shows a report to help desk agent. Executing the "Audit customer's workstation to an import file"

Remoteus2012 Customer´s program
Accelerated remote desktop viewing is a new feature for Remoteus 2010 and later, with this new feature remote desktop viewing experience is smoother.
Accelerated Remote desktop viewing is opened when "View Remote Desktop" is clicked and "Accelerated viewing is available" -text is visible and "Force Fault Tolerant Viewing" is not checked.
In fault tolerant viewing data will be transferred from customer PC to helpdesk PC via Remoteus Gateway. If you have any difficulties with accelerated remote desktop viewing e.g. viewing session terminates unexpectedly please switch to Fault tolerant viewing.
You do not need to configure customer's network to allow possibility for Remote desktop viewing
